Stage 2 is really where we get to see what the TD5 can do, it transforms the original car where overtaking, towing and motorway cruising all become effortless.
We have proven our Stage 2 remap on the dyno and thousands of miles of real world use. We see a really strong 175hp and 436Nm of torque on the dyno.
The power curve is smooth, the torque curve begins low in the rpm range and continues to climb to its peak where it is sustained over a broad rev range.
We write our maps with a few unique features. The TD5 has a fixed geometry turbo, so our maps ensure we get it on boost as soon as possible and continue the power band right through the rev range. We also know that some powerful maps can result in jerky throttle response where ours is very OEM in feel.
Our work has been proven on the dyno, and on our own and customers vehicles over many thousands of accumulated miles, where performance figures, drivability, and long-term reliability are all optimised as part of the development process.
Our own TD5s run a dual map system featuring stage 2 and stage 2+ switchable maps, both of which have more than enough power for our applications.
Important: Before fitting the Stage 2 map, your Land Rover should have these modifications:
Performance intercooler
Centre silencer delete
EGR delete (where emissions law permits)
Catalytic converter delete (where emissions law permits)
(No worries if you’re not there yet — our Stage 1 is the way to go!)
Mobile Delivery: We generally from the South West to the North Midlands. Please contact us with any questions about mobile delivery before ordering.
Note: If you are unsure if you have a NNN ECU please refer to your engine number. This will start with 15p for NNN ECUs. As a guide, NNN ECUs came in around 2002. If in doubt give us a shout. Mapping for older MSB ECUs is coming soon.
