About Me
My background spans automotive and aerospace engineering as Chief Design Engineer and Chief Engineer. I have extensive experience in engine design, testing and performance of engines, as well as designing turbochargers for major OEMs. If you've ever flown long haul, chances are you've already seen my engineering first hand. For Supernaut, this means a rigorous, engineering-led approach to everything I do.

I set up Supernaut as a passion project. I have had Land Rovers all my life, having owned Defenders, Discoverys and Range Rovers, from the 19J diesel, 300tdi, and TD5 through to TDV8 engines. When I first had my TD5 I was really disappointed with how it was in standard form compared to my old 300tdi, especially as numerous people had told me they were so much better! Rather than pay a company to tune my car for me, I set about reverse engineering the ECU and much of the engine, to specify my own performance packages, just how I wanted them. The result of this for my own TD5s is a dual map system featuring stage 2 and stage 2+ switchable maps, the latter at 183hp and an industry benchmark 449Nm of torque, is more than enough power for me and my applications.
Development begins on the dyno and continues through many thousands of miles of structured real-world testing. Customer feedback, data analysis, and validation trials are used to refine each map, with performance, drivability, and long-term reliability optimised throughout the entire development cycle.

The Supernaut Service

Supernaut is a passion project, built on engineering integrity rather than volume sales. I deliberately keep my customer base to a manageable size so that every customer receives direct, personal attention. Each project matters, and every customer is a priority.
​
Turnaround times for remapping are fast (like our maps!) and in-person work can usually be accommodated with minimal delay. For remote work, I provide direct WhatsApp support and am readily available to assist with advice and troubleshooting with same day response. I want you to be really happy with the products and service you receive and will work with you to ensure this is the case every time.
​
You may ask why the pricing is so modest compared to the competition. It's really simple. I have neither the overheads nor the profit driven approach that large companies have. I enjoy what I do, and am delighted to share my work with the Land Rover community for what I believe to be a fair price.

A Bespoke Engineering Approach
In addition to offering proven, off-the-shelf performance packages for the TD5 engine, my background allows me to act as a technical consultant on more complex or unique builds and for all aspects of engine design and performance. Whether your project requires a fully bespoke map or careful optimisation around specific hardware or even advice on things such as turbocharger sizing and sensor selection, I can help guide and develop a solution tailored precisely to your vehicle.
